Safety first, fashion second...

We knew the day would come when our little Princess wouldn't be so little anymore...It's time for a bigger car seat! We went out and bought her a cute car seat cover to make riding in her new car seat (that we didn't yet have) more enjoyable...After asking other mom's advice on car seats we decided that Britax was the way to go!

Off to Babies R Us we go...

We arrive at Babies R Us and see the Britax line-up...the Marathon, the Boulevard and the Advocate...We soon find out that our super cute car seat cover only fits on the Marathon, but the sales person quickly tells us that we NEED the Advocate because it's the absolute safest on the market and that Britax doesn't even recommend the other ones...I find that hard to believe though- obviously they are all good, but he kept repeating... "if you want the best for your daughter..." We decided to buy the Advocate and the cute pink and green striped car seat cover is now available on Ebay!


The Princess will learn to love black and grey...afterall, these are the colors of "safety"

New Year, New Stuff!

So, I haven't really been posting...I warned everyone that I might slack on this! The Princess is now a little over 7 months old and boy is she changing everyday! We've recently introduced food...
My MIL gave me the Beaba Babycook Baby Food Maker for Christmas- it is amazing! I've made carrots, sweet potatoes and green beans so far. Presley eats her yummy food in the coolest high chair ever that her aunt Jennifer gave her- the Stokke Tripp Trapp highchair- it comes in so many colors including my current fave- pink!

My friends!!

December was a busy month for me...I had spent lots of time with friends!
We went to the boat parade with the West Family and had a great time!
In Arizona I got to see so many of my friends and found out that my Godmother is having a boy (JJ) in April!! So excited!
I had a play date with my best friend Lyla, Caroline, Chloe and Kohen!

Our Family Christmas in California!

We decided to celebrate our family Christmas the Sunday before at home! We relaxed all day and opened a present each hour. Everyone had a great time!

Presley so excited about her first gift that she insisted on putting it on!

Arizona for Christmas!

Presley spent her first Christmas in Arizona...we drove with her and Olive and the drive went extremely well! AZ was filled with lots of family (I wish I had more pics to post but I don't have the pics from everyone's cameras!) We had a great time!

The Princess and her 6 month check up!

The Princess had her 6 month check up right before Christmas. She had to get some shots and was not happy about that, but was extremely happy to get some infant Tylenol after...but, she was the happiest of all to get home to her best friend, Olive!
